How does the process of creating sketchnotes improve your thinking when it comes to the topic at hand?
Well, I found that by creating images to go along with the little ideas that I had relly created a larger understanding of just what I was thinking about. Especially this one:

Imagine the social and political ramifications! We are already seeing the impact of citizen journalism on police activities, what happens at political rallies, and in emergency situations like the Mumbai terror attacks and the earthquake in China.

I think a lot of that depends on IF people decide to use it that way, and IF they do it in such a way that adds constructive meaning, rather than just whining. Whining is a favorite pasttime of so many teenagers and bloggers. (I know I kind of point at myself there; I'm trying to not whine so much.)
