Hopefully; though I have to admit, once work starts back up again, most of my writing cycles may be spent on other things. Hopefully I've trimmed the sails and evened the keel enough over the past two weeks to allow for more _me_ time [blogging, reading (pleasure), hobby stuff]. I am at least keeping track of things here so I have content to work from.

This past Sunday, when I sat down to tackle another paper cache, much to my suprise NeatCo released NeatWorks 2.0 for Mac. This brings many new capabilities including significant speed improvement, business card to vcard scanning, and more. Due to feedback in another wlc thread, I have scanned a bunch of [insurance, investment, banking] docs and moved them into a local notebook in Evernote. I have pieces put together enough to finish my blog article.

Thanks for all of the feedback and let me know if there are any specific questions you'd like answered in my writing project.

Hi,

I am sort of in the process of trying this paper to digital thing.  What a great idea.  I carry a Moleskin Cahier pocket size, they come in a 3-pack for less than $10.  So I thought I could start scanning the pages into Evernote like you are talking about.

I have been using Evernote for a few years and love it, but have never scanned anything into it.  But I tried using the new version 3 and what a disaster!!  I can't get Evernote to sync with the free account I signed up for.  And since I can't get logged in through Evernote I can't open or import the database from my old version.  I can log into the website.  Anybody have any suggestions?

Thank you very much!!

Project complete. As with any life hack project, I don't consider it complete until I can document and share. This is my final stage of this project; a short video review about my paper to digital workflow.
